To say it has been a whirlwind of a start to this Rotary Year is an understatement.  We have visited all but three clubs at this point and are absolutely having the time of our lives.  It has been so wonderful to see each of you face to face.  Each club has welcomed us like old friends and that demonstrates the Family of Rotary.  Roschelle and I look forward to the next three club visits (next week).  As with the previous visits we will renew old friendships and make new ones.

In each visit, I have spoken about President Shekhar's initiatives ( Presidential Conferences, Each one bring one, Days of Service, and Empowering Girls) as well as my two initiatives (DEI and End Human Trafficking).  These have been well received.  Club presidents will receive a recommended service project that will address Empowering Girls and a suggested weekend for the project.  At present an Empowering Girls team leader has not been named.  Duana Boswell-Loechel of  the Rotary Club of the Mainland has agreed to be the End Human Trafficking  team leader. Expect to hear about both these programs and a request for local club champions in each area.

To each of you, find the area that you are passionate about and devote your service to that.  It does not have to been on any list but your club's.  This will keep you motivated and engaged in Rotary!
