WOW - ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS - The Event that pulled us Out of COVID and raised $58k for Scholarships

It has been the talk of the town, The Woodlands Rotary Fourth Annual Rotary Crawfish & Cornhole event held at Stillwater Back Porch.

Our Community, Rotarians, made it HAPPEN and under a glorious sunny sky, a windswept Rotunda and Super Pergola setting together WE raised $57,680 for our Community Youth (Six South Montgomery High Schools and Lone Star College students) to further their education and in the process had what this humble writer is tagging as “The Event that Helped US ALL turn the COVID Corner”.

In addition to raising money for our Youth and Education, it was an amazing day of Fellowship & FUN.   We had Crawfish that would truly make ANY Cajun envious, Polish Sausage that Pope John Paul would Bless and World Championship Class Corn-hole with an 8-foot Winner’s Trophy that was surely the Envy of the World CH Champion, and fun for every member of the family.

ALL in ALL the day was beyond our wildest dreams in terms of SUCCESS and for those who attended more FUN and FELLOWSHIP than Disneyworld on Mickey’s birthday.

What WE did was Outstanding and IF you missed it do not worry, The Woodlands Rotary Club is are already working on next year’s event.
