Hardin County Rotary Club was chartered on May 1, 2008, and our Club is still going strong with a busy May 2021.
We had our most successful Driving For Rotary golf tournament to date, with 21 teams and raising approximately $11,000 for our projects and scholarships.
Our Club distributed over 2400 books to all first graders of Silsbee ISD, including those from 2020 that were missed during COVID shutdown. Over the years our small club has distributed over 26,000 books to three different school systems.
We also delivered our pantry supplies from the Community Wide Pantry Drive we coordinated for the Hardin County Victims Assistance Center.
The week of May 24, 2021, three scholarships were awarded and presented to high school graduates.
