Several members of the Rotary Club of Galveston were recognized at a recent meeting for their generous financial contributions to their club.  Club member April Michalski presented the program at the Rotary Club of Galveston's May 5th meeting at Fisherman's Wharf. Her topic was a very poignant discussion of suicide - as she lost her brother to suicide in 2018. April discussed not only how to recognize and to get help for those who need treatment - including herself - but how vital the need is for more services and better programs to aid those struggling with mental illness. | ||
